Dr Cousins graduated from Leicester medical school in 2006 into a role in the British Army where she undertook her medical foundation training. Following this she moved into General Practice and has spent the last 8 years as a GP principal at her NHS GP Practice. Dr Cousins thrives on treating the patients holistically and the continuity of care general practice provides. She enjoys the whole of general practice including mental health and women’s health. When not being a GP she enjoys gardening and taking her dog, Patch, out on runs.

Dr Allured graduated from Leeds University in 1999 and went on to study Medicine at Nottingham. He completed his training in Portsmouth and has worked in Hampshire for the last 15 years as a GP and is a principle at his NHS GP practice. Dr Allured enjoys all aspects of general practice, providing holistic and individualised care. He has a particular interest in GP education and was responsible for GP training in Portsmouth and the surrounding area for a number of years. He remains a GP trainer and thoroughly enjoys teaching. In his spare time he enjoys sailing and spending time with his wife and three children.

Dr Shu Li Tan

Dr Tan graduated from Cardiff University in 2010 and did her foundation training in Wales. She did core medical training and completed her general practice training in 2017. She is a GP principle at her NHS GP practice. She also works with the GP education team and is a GP trainer. Dr Tan enjoys all aspects of general practice, providing holistic and continuous care tailored to individual needs. In her spare time she enjoys picking up new skills and hobbies when not at work. Her current interests include gardening, painting, travelling and badminton. 

Dr Jenny Vanner

Dr Jenny Vanner

Dr Vanner completed her medical degree at Southampton University back in 2009 and subsequently qualified as a GP in 2015. She works at a very busy GP practice as a Partner. “I love that in General Practice you never know what will present through the door next. I enjoy seeing every type of patient but I chose to do an extra diploma in child health and more recently have undertaken extra training to use a Dermatoscope to help diagnose skin cancers and lesions. In my spare time I have two amazing children that keep me busy and a dog! I also enjoy baking birthday cakes , exercise and more recently a bit of gardening.”

Dr Anna Maison

Dr Maison graduated from Southampton medical school in 2007 and has worked as a GP in the Southampton area since 2007. Dr Maison enjoys the continuity and variety of general practice and the ability to provide patient centred care. Dr Maison enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a specialist interest in women’s health and the menopause and has previously worked in a menopause clinic. She also has an interest in education and helps to train new GP’s.   She is also a mentor to newly qualified GP’s. When she is not ferrying her 2 daughters around to various sporting activities she enjoys cooking, travelling and keeping fit.

Dr Deborah Lloyd

Dr Lloyd Graduated from Imperial College in 1998 and has worked on the South Coast since then. After a break to complete the BT Global challenge round the world yacht race in 2000-2001 she completed her GP training in Portsmouth. She has worked as a GP in Hampshire for the last 20 years. Dr Lloyd has been an appraiser for GPs and secondary care consultants in the NHS for 14 years and teaches final year Southampton university medical students. Having recently completed her training in aesthetics Dr Lloyd is excited to bring this skill to the team. She is a keen cyclist, runner and skier who enjoys competing on her mountain bike and trying to keep up with her teenage girls. Dr Lloyd is looking forward to bringing her enthusiasm for exercise and healthy lifestyle to the Coastal practice.

Dr Emily Tyrell

MBBS, MRCGP (2015), DFSRH, PGDip Clinical Dermatology

Dr Tyrrell graduated from Barts and the London Medical School in 2009, completed her foundation training in Essex and then subsequently relocated to the South Coast, qualifying as a GP in 2015. She now has a portfolio career which provides a great life balance whilst maintaining her joy for working as a doctor. She continues to work locally as a salaried GP but has also worked as a menopause specialist, a subject she is passionate about along with all aspects of women’s health. She also has a great enthusiasm for dermatology and is currently extending this as a speciality by working in the local hospital department. Her other interest lies in preventative / lifestyle medicine and looking at this aspect in managing our health and wellbeing. Dr Tyrrell is also a GP appraiser and a mentor for newly qualified GPs. In her spare time Dr Tyrrell is a keen runner, loves to travel, garden and explore the outdoors, as well as spending time with her husband and two children.

Jessica Davidson

Jessica finished her post graduate diploma in nursing in 2007 from Southampton University. She started work in intensive care before moving to practice nursing in 2015, undertaking her practice nurse course at Bournemouth University. She has an interest in skin and women’s health and has joined the Coastal Team offering aesthetics, women’s health and practice nursing. In her spare time she enjoys running (including ultra marathons), going to the gym and travelling.
