You’ll receive a clear explanation of the examination and a detailed written report. If further medical assessment is required, you can also access Coastal’s experienced private GPs for blood tests, treatment or onward referral.

Abdominal scan covers: liver, gallbladder, kidneys, spleen, aorta

Kidney/bladder (inc prostate in men): bladder when full and empty, ureters, kidneys and (in men) prostate where visible
Abdominal aorta: assessing for abdominal aortic aneurysms
Testicular ultrasound: testes, epididymis, scrotum, spermatic cord.

Our ultrasound service is based at Coastal Private GP’s Fareham clinic in South Barn on the Cams Hall Estate.
The clinic is conveniently located close to Fareham town centre, with easy access from the A27 and M27. It is well placed for patients travelling from Fareham, Portchester, Whiteley, Stubbington, Locks Heath and the surrounding areas.
Parking is available on the Cams Hall Estate, making it simple to attend your appointment without needing to travel into the town centre.

Meet Samira, our Sonographer
Samira is an experienced sonographer who also works at a local NHS hospital. She completed her ultrasound training at King’s College London and holds an MSc in Medical Ultrasound from the University of the West of England.
She has experience across a broad range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, gynaecological and pelvic, kidney and bladder, and testicular imaging.
Samira is committed to providing timely, accurate results while ensuring that every patient feels informed, comfortable and supported throughout their examination.
Outside of work, Samira enjoys travelling and spending time with her Miniature Schnauzer.
